Move-In / Move-Out questions, answered
How should I prepare for a move-out clean?
Have the home empty — no boxes or bags — so we can reach everything. Schedule repairs and the movers for a different day than the clean, and keep the power and water on; our equipment needs both. Book a few days ahead of your deadline so there is room for any touch-ups.
Is a move-in clean different from a move-out clean?
Same checklist, opposite direction. A move-out gets the home ready for the next occupant or the landlord's inspection; a move-in gets it disinfected and dust-free before your belongings arrive. If the home is already in good shape, a standard or deep clean may be enough — tell us the situation and we will recommend the right one.
Do you clean inside the oven and fridge on a move-out?
Inside the oven and inside the fridge are add-ons you select when you book, so you only pay for them when you need them. Cabinets and drawers inside and out, the microwave and the oven exterior are already part of the move-in / move-out checklist.
Will the home pass a landlord inspection?
The move-out checklist covers what landlords and property managers check — cabinets, drawers, appliances, bathrooms, baseboards, floors. If anything on their list is missed, tell us within seven days and we will come back.
